Bleed for Me is a dark romance that delves into the dangerous line between infatuation and love. Heartbroken barista Paige moves to Santa Fe to escape her past. Little did she know that she was about to become the target of a serial killer known as Blood Shadow. Mick aka Blood Shadow is a charming and intelligent man who is dangerously obsessed with Paige. He tracks her down, kidnaps her, and puts her through many terrible ordeals. Even in danger, Paige is strangely attracted to Mick, having to choose between fear and forbidden desire. As their relationship becomes more twisted and dangerous, Paige must decide whether to fight for her freedom or succumb to Mick's twisted love, and the novel explores the blurred lines between attraction, control, and the pull of love. Mick's character is especially interesting because he is both a terrifying villain and a charismatic figure. The novel is filled with suspense and tension as Paige struggles to survive and escape Mick's clutches, all while trying not to fall in love with him. The author expertly builds the relationship between Paige and Mick and it explores the complexities of their twisted relationship. The ending was surprising and unexpected which leaves the readers feeling uneasy and with lingering questions about the nature of love and attraction.

Kitty Rose's Bleed for Me is a dark romance that promises a passionate and intense love story. While the premise is intriguing, the execution leaves something to be desired. The author's writing style is often clunky and repetitive, and the plot can feel predictable at times. One of the biggest drawbacks is the lack of depth in the main characters. Both the male and female leads come across as rather one-dimensional, with limited character development. Their interactions often feel forced and their decisions can seem impulsive and illogical. Despite these flaws, Bleed for Me does have its moments. The author's ability to create a dark and atmospheric setting is commendable, and there are a few genuinely intense scenes that will keep readers engaged. However, the overall execution falls short of what could have been a truly captivating read.

If you're a fan of dark romance, Bleed for Me may still be worth checking out. But be prepared for a not well-written story with characters that may not fully resonate.
