Quote from author; can't find a quote but I really love this particular quote from the book, "This is real. You and Me. This is everything".

Personal line of quick thoughts; it's a pretty interesting novel but not completely captivating. The descriptions are vivid, and the romance will leave you squirming in your seat BUT it seems to lack a certain allure that's quite indescribable because if I have a whole lot of books in my library. I'd really drop it & pick another novel.

He was my beginning and. and my never-ending.

Ellis

There’s a lot I’ve never told my best friend. The fact that I love him. That I miss him every day he’s gone. That, sometimes, I ache for him with a ferocity that leaves me breathless. Lucky Buchanan tore into my life as a boy, wild and daring, my opposite in every way. He drew me in, stole my heart without trying. He hears me, even though I rarely speak a word. But I always knew this place wouldn’t be enough for my free-spirited friend. I knew he wasn’t mine to keep. So why, when I finally try to get over him, does he sweep back into town? Why is he upset? Why is there tension between us for the first time in years? I never saw a future where Lucky could be mine. But now, unless I want to lose my friend, I might not have a choice but to tell the truth. My heart belongs to him. It has from the start. If only I knew how to hold onto a creature that’s meant to fly

A Heartwarming Tale of First Love and Self-Discovery.

In this Beautiful novel, Emmy masterfully weaves a poignant story of first love, friendship, and the struggles of growing up.

As the story unfolds, Emmy Sanders skillfully explores the deepening bond between Lucky and Ellis, which blossoms into a romantic relationship. The characters' tumultuous journey of emotions is expertly portrayed, making their love feel authentic and tender.

One of the novel's greatest strengths is its ability to balance the sweetness of first love with the complexities of self-discovery. Lucky's desire to explore the world beyond the small town is connected with his deepening feelings for Ellis, creating a sense of tension and longing.

The author's writing is evocative and innovative transporting readers to the small town and its quaint surroundings. The characters are multidimensional and relatable, with their struggles and triumphs feeling both personal and universal.

The pacing is well-balanced, with moments of tenderness and intimacy juxtaposed with scenes of humor and wit. The supporting cast, including Lucky's family and Ellis's mother, add depth and nuance to the story, highlighting the importance of support.

In conclusion, this novel is a stunning exploration of first love, self-discovery, and the complexities of growing up. With its beautiful prose, relatable characters, and poignant themes, it is a must-read for anyone who has ever experienced the thrill and terror of falling in love.
